I love Saturdays, those that are not regular work schedules, of course. It's on Saturdays that I have a lot of time to try out recipes I have bookmarked in my cookbooks and online. I am not pressed for time on these days, and during the weekdays before, I already plan what I want to cook and do shopping for particular ingredients, another task I love to do. Unlike when I was younger, I know shop with a purpose, and I learn about prices of meat and produce, even develop muscle memory for weights of food in packs.
